Honey Garlic Chicken Pasta

Filed under: Pasta — Joy @ 11:55 am

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons honey (preferably creamed clover honey)
  • Garlic salt
  • 5 Chicken tenders, sliced into 1-inch cubes
  • Farfalle pasta, or whatever type you like best
  • Broccoli

Directions:

  1. Cook pasta according to directions on the box.
  2. Boil broccoli for five minutes, then drain.
  3. In a medium frying pan, turn heat to medium and spray pan with cooking spray (Pam). Once the pan is warm, throw in the cubed chicken. Sprinkle with garlic salt and pour honey so that there’s a good amount on all the pieces. The honey will melt into the chicken. Once the chicken is cooked on the bottom, flip the cubes over and allow to cook until the chicken reaches your desired state of golden-brown.  Be careful not to cook for too long, or else the chicken will get tough.
  4. Toss the pasta, broccoli, and chicken together and serve immediately.
